  • Lark Motor Mounts-Frame Mounts V8 vs I6

Are the frame mounted motor mounts for the Lark 6 and 8 the same part just swapped side to side??? Thanks to all.
My parts books are in storage or Id look it up myself.

The Right Engine Mount (Frame) "Bracket" fits '55 to 1960S Sedans/Wagons/Larks

The Left fits 1959 to 1964S Larks ALL

    No V-8's Left or Right..

Thank you so much for that info. Sadly, it makes more work for me in the short term, but saves me from having to hunt down V8 frame brackets later.
      Again, thanks.

.....run that by me again.....Are you saying that they do interchange 8 to 6 (6 to 8)...?

It looks like the frame mounts for the 6 cyl engine are completely different than those for the V8. They appear to be the same, just swapped side to side, but they do, in fact, have different part numbers. V8 brackets only fit V8s, 6s only fit 6s. The CK, mounts will fit either 6 or 8. That was why I was asking. I'm doing a swap. Taking out the OHV 6 w/ 3 speed, to install V8 w/ 4 speed. I can't wait to drive it... top down weather is already here and I'm eager to get in it.
