  • Fuel System: Supercharger part needed

On pulling apart my supercharger I believe I found why it was removed from the car in the '60s and placed in storage. The inner, driven bearing for the large ball race has a single large pit in it and needs replacing. Is anyone able to supply a good one or machine a new one? It's a fairly high-precision part.

I wrote John Erb a few months ago with no response. Is he still working, or what?

    Thanks!

I assume you're talking about the balldrive race. Just call Paradise. The pair will set you back about $140. Might as well replace the balls while you're there. They seldom survive running on a damaged race unscathed, even though that damage may require magnification to see.

I've already got the outer races, the balls and seals. I hadn't seen the damage to the inner race before this.
