Come on and join us. Members of all three clubs will be there. SDC ASC, and AOAI. There should be a feature on the event in the Arizona Republic newspaper Friday. Food and fun.

We would be there but a grandson's birthday party takes precedent.

Just back from the "March Madness" event. About 40 cars and trucks. Nice turnout and a perfect day. Locals were invited and the comments were all positive. You can learn a lot by listening to a person explaining the "automatic sliding roof" on a Wagonaire to his wife or kids. Also learned that "Bullet Nose" Studebakers were built with parts left over from WWII airplanes. Found a couple parts at the swap meet. Forgot my camera, so no pictures from me.......sorry.

Great show! Because of the good publicity the article in the local Phoenix paper Friday gave us,the spectators turned out in droves. Several spectators formerly had some sort of connection to Studebaker, be it that they formerly worked at "Studies", or had family members that worked there. Funny even way out here in Phoenix that one can run into people that worked there. Had quite a conversation with a lady whose Dad, a Mr. Hudson, came over from REO to become the general manager for truck production from 1934 until the end, in December of 1963. Good mix of cars at the show as well.
