Whats a fair price for a rebuilt r-2 supercharger?

If the seller has proof of who and WHEN the "Rebuild" was done, SN-60 '63-'64 Paxton S/C's go for give or take $1000.00
A McCullough clutched unit is somewhat less.
Maybe SN-60 has some input here.

800-1000 is reasonable. A broken core is worth 200-300, and the parts to totally rebuild is around 600. Impeller, and oil pump is additional. Spring pack is additional. It can run over 800 in parts if it's totally trashed to start.Bez Auto Alchemy

It really gets interesting, as nowadays folks doing exact restorations are looking for SN units with the proper bearing housing for their application......Take two units in similar condition....The one with the correct bearing housing for the 'build' could be worth much more to the 'builder'!Comment

Based on a few units I know of built by that rebuilder, the seller likely has $900 + in the overhaul.Jim
