  • Need a rear window lock for '56 wagon

    Not the lock cylinder, but the lock box that's behind it. The part with the tongue that hooks into the tailgate and secures both. Would the same from an early Lark fit it? There are two at Gustafson's ('62s) and I'm sure he would sell them for a fair price. I'd really like to be able to secure this car.

    I bought one from SASCO last year NOS. Part #305453. $29.70. They show they still have some in stock. Good Luck

        Ron; the fully framed upper tailgate was last used on 1959 Lark wagons, '60-'62's have the handle on the lower tailgate and almost no frame on the glass, so NO those will not work. Better to have one that is not already worn out anyway![^]

          Ron; the fully framed upper tailgate was last used on 1959 Lark wagons, '60-'62's have the handle on the lower tailgate and almost no frame on the glass, so NO those will not work. Better to have one that is not already worn out anyway![^]

                    I just saw three at Sasco in June. They were by the boxes of arm rests in the main area. They were $30.00 each. I hoope they are still there.
