  • Poor Old '57 Champion

I was on the road this weekend and just had to stop and take pictures before it was too late. The car was set quite a ways apart from the garage that used to sell nice old cars in Ellsworth, ME, but they appear to be out of business now. The inspection sticker was from 1988. Very sad.

That thing don't look all that bad. And a 2-door at that!
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

I first learned about this car over ten years ago.
While not a 400 pointer, it didn't look too bad back then.
The dealer wanted '57 Chevy money for it though~
about twice what it was actually worth.

He should'a taken my offer, eh?

The last time I was by that dealer, in October, it looked like he was out of business. I'll check it out when I go up this spring.

Its still sitting there for a reason, He loves it and cant bear to see it crushed.
Someone might just snatch it up. Cant hurt to try.
