Isn't that weird. I only tried three or four times.
Maybe it's the lucky fifth time...?

well, i "previewed" the post before submitting, logged out of the forum then back in and the link worked each time.

maybe a "glitch" since Chip seemed to have a problem, too. idk...

anyway, i went to the pics section of the forum, searched "1958 Packard" and got 7 threads. here's one of them (if it works for y'all): http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...t=1958+Packard

Also, have a look on the excellent Packard Club website.

before restorationjBefore total restoration. Sat in a Northern California garage nearly 30 years. Only light surface rust found in the trunk. Engine ran, but I overhauled it anyway. New supercharger bought in 1973 for $164.00.

This is my friend Rusty Hawk. The first photo is the one where I found him on the net, the second about fifteens seconds after he rolled off the ramp the morning he arrived in Seattle. He is sitting there looking a little bewildered with my other friend Hugh Russell.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other pics of Mr. Hawk, as 30 minutes after I met him and he rolled off that ramp we started tearing him down for a full frame off. Right now he is suffering from...ah....er, a split personality with his body at Hugh's place and his Chassis and engine at my place in a couple thousand pieces.
