Yes- especialy since you have a title in your hand.
Easy on, easy off for a scrapper with the right truck.

But it's worth more in parts.

I'm not in a rush. But I will be more negotiable if a SDC makes me an offer.

Heck, I have a pair of '60's that I'd literally just about give away to any SDC'er who'd like to take a crack at restoring them. One even has a title. And I still can't move those things. It's not easy or quick to find someone who wants to take on a project. Sadly, in my case, since they're non-op, I'm probably going to succumb to having them scrapped, or at least the one with the title. (I may need to chop up the other one and put it inside the titled car if I scrap it. Without a title, even the scrappers don't touch you anymore.)

just received a $300 recycler offer. If I was closer and you had parts that I needed for the wagon, I would hit you up.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't your '65 a driver? If so, I wish you were about 3000 miles further east. Isn't there anybody in the northwest that could use a '65 for a bit more than scrap prices? I'm confused.....(I know what's new?)

The transmission went out back in October. It runs though

I had forgotten about that. Still, the car should be worth more than $300.

I'd give the OP the $350 and install a TH350 or similar to replace the original tranny; just that I live well over a 1,000 miles away in Arizona.

I know I can think of at least one guy-
but he's too flustered to deal with this right now...

In a week or so it will (hopefully) be a different story.

I would love to have a driver Stude as Ihave 2 65-66 auto trans that were working ok back in the 80s when cars were parked but as always on wrong end of country.

                        I believe a U-Haul trailer can be rented for $55 a day.

Oh my, I am so glad I gave away those transmissions to George (in Grant's Pass)! Otherwise I would be tempted to pick this up! Hey George! Use one of those trannys I gave you and this will likely make a nice driver for your wife till you get the Blue Witch going.

I'm kinda curious, what colour exactly is this car? In the blue-dot picture, it looks to be a dark magenta to black. It the others it looks very faded pink? I like what you did with the rims though. That red looks good with the car.
