  • What Year is this horn button?

So, what year/model is this horn button? Thanks, Heather

This looks a lot like part 520160, used on 1947 (6G) and early 1948 (7G) Champions. If so, it is seriously discoloured.

This is the standard issue horn bar emblem for 1949 cars. The metallic chocolate background is correct as is the "chrome" highlights. These highlights were outlined in red, but that red has faded away with the years. Just so happens I supplied one of these to Annie Goodman for her '49 Champion daily driver, Mabel.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Just tell Kent or Ken or whatever alais he is using this week that it is a faded 1949.

Just for the record, Heather is not an Alias but a very nice young lady that I've dealt with on several occasions. Whatever any forum member thinks of Kent should not be extended to Heather.

BTW, My dealings with both of them has been nothing but positive.
