Looking at old movie (american Graffiti) just now, I realized the young girl got out of a Studebaker to get in the yellow coupe.

If you look closer you'll se more Studebakers in American Graffiti, there's a red metallic one by Mell's drive-in & a white -60's square one in the scrap-yard & I think they used the -55 parked alongside for many street-scenes.

& more movie-Studebakers: Don Jonson drove a black Silver Hawk in a movie where he played the role of a bank-robber, & there's a -57 President cop-car in Moonshine Highway & a dark green metallic -55 Starlight on the scrap-heap in California Kid.
