picked up my wife's Cobra for repair. Sounds like timeing chain ( I think from street racing)

I suggest getting rid of the cute little glass fuel filter. I nearly burned my 37 up on I-80 coming back from the International meet when the threads on that same type of filter failed. Gas all over the side and motor. I will repeat - the threads failed - they did not just come unscrewed. We very easily could have had a disaster and not just the car. Bet you can guess where they are made.

The glass filter is not going to stay. I put the fuel pump back on the engine to keep it from slinging oil everywhere. I still threw a little oil out of the dipstick hole as you can see. Should be a torque monster!!
