I will report some Studebaker related information from the two page article on Hot Rod Rosie that is in the 1/3/13 "Old Cars Weekly".

"James Groh opened a Studebaker dealership in Milwaukee while still in his 20s. Eventually, Groh expanded his operation to three dealerships in Milwaukee and one in Las Vegas." James Groh legally changed his name to Crazy Jim. He also promoted demolition derbys. Roselyn Young was hired by Jim to sell cars. "Crazy Jim asked Young to be his first female derby driver." Jim gave her the nickname of Hot Rod Rosie.

There are four pictures with the article. Two show Hot Rod Rosie driving a 1957 Chrysler in a 1966 derby. The car looks like an average nine year old used car.

Don't we also have a Groh here on the Forum?

I just finished reading that story about an hour ago. Having some time off has let me catch up on my reading... and posting!
It was an interesting read.
