  • Vic Phillips of Phillips Classic Auto Glass

I received a phone call from a friend of the Vic Phillips family. Vic had a serious stroke last Wednesday and is in hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO.

His son Rick, and wife Vicky, are doing their best to look after the business while Vic is in hospital.

They don't need immediate help with that, but it sure would be helpful for Vic to hear from SDCers with, perhaps, get well wishes, cards, etc. Those could be sent to the business address at: 3782 Westwood, Poplar Bluff MO 63901.

My two sons (10 & 12 years old) are fans of Vic's. Last May, he "hired" them to help him with his glass business at South Bend. It was a wonderful experience for the boys, and I believe Vic appreciated their help. So it was a win-win, and my sons are left with wonderful memories. He is one heck of a nice guy. Also, "the only guy in town", as far as I am concerned when it comes to glass.
Thoughts and prayers to Vic and his family, from me and my sons her in Kentucky.
