  • Favorite Model Year

    My favorite model years for Studebaker is 1958 and 1964, I love the 58 fins and the look of all the 64's. Just curious about other members favorite year models. Since I love the 58's I have to include the Packards as well.

            That's a tough question! I love the '37 coupes, but the '41s are nice, too. I also really like the '63s.

              Like the looks of the 41 Champ, but never had one. Have 3 53's and 2 63's.

                Styling is a personal thing. My wife hates the bullet nose Studes but I do, especially if the front bumper is left off. 53/54 C/K's are a knock out as are the 62-64 G.T.'s. 59/60 Larks have a cute sort of look but the 64-66 style is classy. I would say the prewar cars that dont appeal to me could be numbered on one hand. Mid 50's dont float my boat but I do like the 57's the best of those years. MHO

                  53/54 hands down one of the best automotive front end designs ever made.
                  Even the 53/54 wagon/sedans aren't too bad.
                  There's a lot of good looking designs on the road, but it's pretty hard to beat the 53/54.

                  As you asked...in my opinion.

                    Without a doubt, 1956 Golden Hawk. The Packard motor gives the car a unique personality, delivers road power in spades, and gets as good or better MPG to boot !

                      32 Roadster, 55 Speedster, 64 Conv. If I had to have a sedan , it would be a 57 President or Packard.

                        Bullet nose, I like the 51 best because that's what I have. I also like my 2R truck 49-53 best also because that's what I have.

                        The ones I don't have;
                        1932
                        1937
                        53/54
                        1956 If I was ever to get another Stude, it would be be a 1956 4 door president
                        Avanti - love the car but would only be interested in owning one if I had Leno's money

                          50 Convertible has to be the most unique body style. I like the GT Hawks too. I started admiring them in South Bend, this summer and might have to do something about it.

                              58 is my overall favorite model year. I also like the 56 and 57 two door sedans.
