  • Steering: How to ID tie rod ends?

    Hi All,

As usual in a batch of Studebaker stuff I have 7-8 NOS tie rod ends that have no tags, part numbers on them or manufacturers ID other than company name in some cases.

Is there any way to ID tie rod ends and what they fit?

    All tips, tricks, etc appreciated.

      Henry,

If you had a bunch that you could match them with that would be the easiest. Otherwise, you would need a manufacturer's specifications manual that gives the thread direction, shaft size and length, stud size and length with application. You could put them in a postal flat rate box and send them to me?
