  • Brakes: 2R10 pick up rear wheel bearing nut wrench

Looking for the right size wheel bearing nut wrench and brake drum puller for my 2R10 pick up. Where's a good place to get these tools and does anyone know the part numbers?

Looking for the right size wheel bearing nut wrench . . . for my 2R10 pick up.
IIRC, your 2R10 has the Timken axle and would use the same wheel bearing nut wrench as my '55 E12. The good news is it is the 2-3/8" and very common at truck and 4WD shops; the same as Dodge, Jeep, Ford, Chevy 3/4t using the Timken or Dana 60 rear axles.

Hope you are more lucky than I've been. Seems most CASOs don't have this socket and put the wheel bearing nuts on and off with a cold chisel, thus ruining the nuts. Again, the good news is they're cheap and the nuts, seals and bearings are readily available at truck shops.

Looking for the . . . brake drum puller for my 2R10 pick up.
BTW, are you thinking about 1/2t? On larger trucks, when the nuts are removed, the rear drums just pull off, same as front drums, just larger. No puller necessary.

I went to Harbor Freight and bought a 3/4" drive socket set as I maintain several different make vehicles and used several different sizes.

A regular socket won't fit, the walls are too thick - it needs to be a socket designed for axle nuts - and it needs rounded corners
