    Unlikely that he had that many convertibles in stock (yeh, I know it's California but...). My guess some were borrowed from other local dealers.

        Anyone else notice how those girls look like they just stepped off the set of American Graffiti?

              For whatever it's worth, Hamer Motors is still in business (and very successful) as Hamer Toyota (at the same location after all these years!).
              Howard - Los Angeles chapter SDC
              '53 Commander Starliner (Finally running and driving, but still in process)
              '56 Golden Hawk (3 speed/overdrive, Power steering - Running, but not yet driving)
              '58 Packard Hawk. A partially restored car that was not completely assembled.

                        I thought you'ld catch this, and I only use to lived in Orange County. Look at the photo caption of the cities that the ladies were transported through: Mission Hills, OK; North Hills, OK; Granada Hills, OK, Sylvan, were's that? never heard of it; maybe they ment Sylmar, OK; and finially San Fransisco? what did the do, take a 400 mile ride up highway 1 to Frisco? Oh maybe they ment San Fernando, OK. Was this article from a locale LA news paper? Kind of sloppy journalism.
