So I'm looking thru a copy of Motor Age magazine.... Jan 31, 1918 and come across an interesting article on valve timing on a Studebaker.... Here's the schematic they provided with the legend at the bottom left. Hard to believe they were still using the same marks when the lights went out in South Bend...
