    An old friend, Avanti owner/driver (daily driver is a '63 R-2 4-speed) Greg Cone sent me these pix to show what a challenge he was willing to take on. He truly loves old cars. He was a master restoration craftsman at White Post, but left there to restore antique airplanes (he hand made the engine for the replica Wright flyer used in the centennial celebration in 2003). While this car is not a Studebaker (a Stoddard-Dayton)these pictures show what can be done. As an example, he turned the hubs and drums himself because he couldn't find any.

    Amazing! Was that one of Carl Fisher's cars? The guy who started the Indy race track.
