I have a V-8 4-bbl manifold, p/n 554641. I think it's from a late '50's Stude. Can anyone with a parts book for those years positively ID this for me?

Thanks!

If that's the number embossed onto the manifold, I doubt it's gonna be a number you can look up in a parts book. That's cause it would be the part number for a raw casting, not a finished manifold.;)

Easy enough to tell what you have though, if its got 4 holes in it,
than its one of two manifolds - AFB (larger rear holes) or WCFB (all
the same size holes). AFB is 63/64, WCFB is earlier than that. The
same casting seems to have been used for both, whereas there was an
only 2 barrel manifold casting, and then some later two barrels are
made from the 4 barrel casting.
