  • Stude Restoration Shop in Cali...

Nice little write-up and photos from another of my favorite websites to visit...

During my recent adventures-in-dog-sitting weekend, I stumbled across one of the most interesting graveyards I’ve ever seen: A repair shop dedicated to Studebakers–an array of disheveled, decaying birds from Indiana, […]

Looks like a whole lot of non-Stude. people trying to figure out what we all already know! Lol!

It is Bob Peterson's back lot at one of C & B Studebaker's locations.

Not quite a "Restoration Shop", a bit closer to a "Flipper Lot"!

Hmm...Larks are undesirable compared to Falcons huh.

OK then, bring em on! At the Annual Muscle Car Drags at the Michigan Motorplex!

Flipper lot you say? I once called some one that here on the forum and all hell broke out, but that is my shop, the Sky hawk is on it's way to New Zealand, the Fin hawk or most of it is on it's way to China, the others are for sale along with ones in the shop not seen.

          Flipper?

Thats almost funny Bob! No disrespect was intended of course, but I do have to call-em as they are.

JDP's business could not be called anything else, because that is exactly what it was, it was very sucessfull I might add, the largest ebay Studebaker seller EVER.

Rich, I have never figured my self as a flipper, sure I would buy and figure I would sell some day but have never sold one just after getting it and buffing it and moving it, but I have sold some to people that have taken ones I have owned for a few years and done just that, most all I have ever had stayed with well over a year or so, also most of mine have become parts cars for others.
