This appears to be made out of a sedan, not a C/K.
I like it EXCEPT that it does not appear to have side windows.Gary L.

Geez Gary! Who needs sumpthin' as superfluous as side windows. Yup, I looked at that and I thought - yeah, there's a way to make a "Lowboy" out of a stodgy ol' see-dan!No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.Comment

very cool car, probably lives where window do not matter and most likely not have to be daily driver. Good eyes on the paint, perhaps it is the light or a shading thing, still very excellent car. I did not notice 4 doors until it was brought up.Comment

I, myself never thought a 4-door Stude from '53-'55 had so much potential. I suspect it was lowering the roof and the profile is what makes it work so well; not unlike what Mercedes Benz did to create their CLS four-door "coupe".
