  • Engine: stuck oil pressure relief valve

The oil pressure relief valve oil in my 49 Champion seems to be stuck. Does anyone have any hints on how to get it out for cleaning? The spring came out fine. I have never had this problem in the past with both sixes and V-8s. Thanks so much for your time.

If it's like the V8s , use a letter B drill, push it into the hole the spring was in and pull gently, perhaps with a twisting motion.

when all else fails....place a coffee can or other over the valve hole and start the engine...won't take much..
