  • Fuel System: Fuel line and filter questions

Does anyone know of an in line filter that has female flare fittings that screw right onto the fuel line? It would be 1/2" x 14. I'm replacing all the fuel line and would like a screw on filter instead of hose and clamps.

Also is there a stainless braided line available that goes from the fuel pump to the supply line from the tank? I have a new rubber one but since it's close to the exhaust manifold I figure braided would be better.

    Thanks,
    Rich

A sediment bowl independant type filter has existed for deckaids a good auto parts store can order it and you can thread in the flared fittings. As for flex stainless steel there was a post several years ago about not usin obe because of static build up in the lining.

I bought one of but have not installed it yet. since the fuel pump has a particle bowl I'll put this just in front of the carb to filter out the finer crap: http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-fu...roduct_Related
