Studebaker parts on current Racing boats

This morning I got call from a friend who races boats on the Barnegat Bay , They have 3 classes Garveys , Jersey speed skiffs and Ski boat, Any way Bill asked me if I knew where he could find some shim type small block Chevy head gaskets as local jobbers don't seem to have them anymore , I said I have them NOS Studebaker , He said what ! and I explained to him about the Chevybakers. So Tomorrow a Ski Boat will be racing around Berkley Island in Barnegat Bay N.J. with Stude parts , Ed

Hey Ed, are you going down to the meet, I would sure like to see some photos of those old boats, if you could email them to me it would be great. We use to Ski Race with this boat (like your Catalina Island deal) it had a fuel injected, twin turbo SB, 900HP and could do 115mph with skiers up.
