A very enjoyable week-end. We drove the '41 to Lake Junaluska on Friday, about one hundred miles. Then, on Saturday, we drove to the tri-state meet and around Waynesville. Yesterday, we drove on to the NC Arboretum near Asheville for a Dahlia show, and then on to the Asheville Farmers Market before heading home. The weather was perfect and the old car couldn't have done better. Never got the temperature above normal, and we drove over some sizable mountain ranges. People honked, gave thumbs up, and wanted to talk about the car everywhere we stopped. A very enjoyable week-end.
