  • Other: 1958 Supercharger

I am putting a motor and superchager from a 58 Packard into my 57 Silverhawk. I need parts and a SC rebuild. Where do I start.
I have been away from Studes for about 5 years but plan to get back into them again. I couldn't even find an old SASCO or California Studebaker catalog:-)

    Try Studebaker International.

Studebaker of California moved and became Studebaker International which bought the remains of SASCO. Stude Intl's catalog is now over 350 pages. But there are other vendors. Find some of them on the home page of SDC.

Thanks for the info. I have ordered a catalog from SI. I am looking though the Aug. TW for a rebuilder.

I had the Mc Culloch supercharger of my 1957 Golden Hawk rebuilt by Mr John Erb, Nevada. It came back like new and is running fantastic ever since.

Your 1958 engine with supercharger must be an LS engine from a Packard Hawk. The Hawk was the only supercharged Packard for 1958. All Packards were supercharged for 1957.
