  • See ya on the other side!

I don't know how many more times I'll be on before the site's plug is pulled at 9 tomorrow for the updates. It's a good thing the site will be down. I have a lot of prep work to do for IDYSD, and I didn't want the temptation of this place anyway! On the agenda:

    -Get my custom-made IDYSD T-shirt
    -Change the oil
    -Top off the rear diff
-polish the wheels and scrub the tires
    -wash the car
    -clay, polish, and wax
    -clean the interior
-replace a few burnt out dash lights

And if I have a little time left, I hope to hit the storage unit, get some parts, and go hammer on the sedan for an hour or two.

I hope your day without the forum will be just as interesting!

Jim- Thanks for posting this!!! You made me check a calender because I thought the shut-down was gonna be on Saturday- which I thought was good because that is IDYSD...

It works out either way, since I've spent most of this last week helping prep The Bell's Studebaker Museum and Diner, I've had very little time to do any prep of my own. So tomorrow is my day to prepare for Whatcom County SDC's IDYSWeekend. Betsy's brake lights are acting 'goofy' and Sweet Pea needs a bath. I hope to be able to drive each of them to one of the three days of fun we have planned...

        Pretty coool, eh?

Man, if I were in the neighborhood, I'd go to that festival for sure! Have fun with it.

And that's all she wrote, folks. Goin' to bed. Unless I check early in the morning, I won't see you until we all step on through to the other side. Let's pray things go smoothly and if problems do arise, that there was a recent database backup to save everything.
