  • Clutch / Torque Converter: T84G which clutch plate ?

I am putting together a powerunit to get a 1942 champion up and running, the gearbox is a T84G unit which was in the car, the engine I have is a truck unit and the centre clutch plate is a bit to large it measure to big. Can you tell me what plate I need to order is it the same as something else ?

If I ask for a 42 stude plate the boys here would fall over laughing

I do not know ANY Studebaker Vendors that would laugh, just pull it off of the shelf and ship it!

Sorry not wishing to offend, its a little like you going into Petboys and you asking for a thrust bearing for a 1949 Rover 100-------------------Studebaker is a rarity over here

I understand that, but "over there" is the wrong place to look for American Made Studebaker Parts.
