    We have a member in our local club whose father sold used cars back in the '50's and '60's. He has loads of old ads that his dad ran on the walls of his business.

            For 1963 pay scales, the 1963s shown were pretty expensive used cars.

                I love how those ads don't even mention the cars' make! I guess, when you're in South Bend, it goes without saying

                            I have the whole newspapers hung on the wall in frames next to the cars in my barn because they feature Studebaker stories on the front page. I took them down the other day to look for some non Studebaker information I knew was in one of them, and found the ads. It had been years since I had opened them. Here's another little tidbit I found in the 1962 paper:
