  • Interior: Wavy door panel repair

The door panels in my 63 Lark, are in pretty good shape, except they are kind of warped and wavy. I was thinking about wetting the backing board, and clamping them between two pieces of plywood. Has anyone tried this, or have other ideas how to straighten them out?

On my '54 sedan, I made some new panels out of 1/8" ABS plastic, and transferred the vinyl covering of the door panel to the new panels. Used some thin foam (sold for use under vinyl tops and landau tops) underneath. Came out pretty nice.
