Transmission / Overdrive: '63 Avanti Flex Plate Renforcement Ring - Correct Installation

Is the transmission flex plate reinforcement ring installed on the torque converter side or the crankshaft side of the flex plate? ( I remember the TQ side but need to be sure)

Yes, you are correct, it is the torque converter side. (right under the nuts)

I am about to install the re-enforcement ring, and can not remember if lock washers are required with the castle type of nut??? I am pretty good with taking note of such but neglected this one.

So here is the Challenge of the day! Please find the page in the chassis book! I have found the installation breakdown plate for six cylinder models but can not find reference to V8 models. I am stumped!
