Was thinking of the Studebaker repair shop I used to go to in the late 60's and early 70's...........When Studebaker Miami closed shop........the two head mechanics Richard H. Dahl, and a fellow named Harvey opened up a repair station at 511 NW. 79th Street, Miami Florida........they named it Trojan Service Center...........it was in business up until at least 1976-7. Dick sold out to some fellows who thought they could make a killing repairing Studebakers........they lost their shirt, and dumped a 40 yr collection of parts in the dumpster.
I did a Goggle search of the address and was shocked to see the place was little changed........and now named Santana Auto Repair...........I have so many wonderful memories of this place........i am sure many of you have similar memories..........but how many can say the place they went to is still in the repair business.........in the same building!
