My father-in-law is Polish - American & a decorated WWII vet. He turns 90 soon & was moved to a nursing home today in Detroit. Last summer, during a visit, he was talking about Studebakers while I drove him to the airport in my Champ. He never owned one but he said his Teamster buddies called them the "Polish Cadillacs". He recalled that they were the most beautiful cars in Hamtramck, MI.
