Former Norwalk FirefighterCollins Funeral Home in Norwalk. There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.

Roland was a long time member of the Nutmeg Chapter here in CT. This is sad news, indeed.
