Electrical: Adjusting headlight aim

Is there a 'home remedy' for doing this properly or should I take it into the local repair shop to have it done?

Tom, I adjusted mine using the instructions here:

Many of the shop manuals have the technique outlined in them.

Remember also to have someone sit in the drivers seat to make sure the car sits like it will sit when you drive it.
