  • Sugru

A recent post on Q-Bond reminded me of a product people here might find useful. Sugru is a molding putty that sticks to just about anything, handles a wide range of temperatures, and comes in a variety of colors. Unlike JB Weld, Sugru stays a little flexible and grippy. Between the two products you should be able to repair just about anything -- perfect for little things in cars. I've used it to mount a headlamp on a ski helmet. Their website, http://sugru.com/ , shows lots of "hacks" from product users to give you some ideas. If JB Weld is too brittle and superglue doesn't see to stick, Sugru will probably work.

Warning: the stuff does have an expiration date so only buy what you'll use in 6 months or so.
