is there anyone who has touch-up paint for 63 avanti white?
very small nicks,like pencil points.
also, is there supposed to be a small brass washer that goes
on the bolt that holds the master cly. cover on? not the one
thats stamped. thanks jnp

Most Kragens carry a rack of touch up paints. I got basic black for my
Avanti there and its a pretty good match. Get rid of that single one
and get a dual master on there!! Thats a timebomb waiting to explode.

A kit is available from a few vendors, or you get do like I did & get
the Chrysler master locally, plumb the lines yourself. The brake lite
switch will have to be changed to electric, but the hole is there on
the swinging pedal.

do you have the chrysler part #? what cost involved if i have
a local shop do the install? also tom,your wheels rule! all five of them. where u find them? thanks jnp

Its hard to say if a local shop will do the mod for you. The problem
these days is that Lawyers have ruined our daily life. Most shops are
even afraid to ADD BRAKE FLUID for you because of the liability. I am
not sure you can find a shop that will take on the risk of being sued
by you if for some reason something goes wrong. The change isnt that
hard to do, though its best to have experience with hydrulic fittings
and you will have to bend a few new lines (be done by hand carefully).
Maybe there is someone local to you that can help you out.

The wheels (5? You mean steering wheel also?) are made by AFS wheels
in Canoga Park. The steering wheel is a Grant with the Stude kit. The
wheels are 17 inch by 8 inch wide, with a 5 inch backspacing. To use
them you will need at least a 1/4 spacer on front, OR Dave said his
12 inch Mopar rotors move the wheels out (though you have to confirm
this with him, he never got back to me before I did my own disc setup).
The setup that I made will also make the wheels fit, I am doing a run
of brackets and collecting names for them right now. Factory Mustang
Cobra wheels will not fit - they are 9 inch wide & 6 inch backspacing.
Max for a Stude is 4 1/2 to 4 3/4.
