Please advise the last year Studebaker produced a car with a rumble seat. Just found one is a barn (has a cement floor) that has been parked since the early 60's. Located in MN and is rust free. It has tons and tons of dust/dirt. Owner of the car passed away and wife and kids are looking at selling it. The only two facts that she knows about the car is that they are the second owner and that the year of the car is the "last year they made one with a rumble seat". Thanks for your input.

You know I can't tell without in person inspection. Just give me the address and I'll go check. If I had to guess '36 or '37

Dwain - I am surprised at your answer. The 1961s were aftermarket build, not "Studebaker produced".

Okay, Dwain. I assumed that you knew. I didn't pick up on the humor in your written word (I often have that problem with my posts). I was afraid that others may take your statement as fact.

I always forget to put a smiley on the end when I do stuff like that.

I will have to check into this car a little further. I am not a pre-war guy. While I restore cars to 100% original, I like the 58 Packards and Larks. Mr. Quinn I have seen your finished products over the years and they mirror what I attempt. My first call will be to you one of these days when this thing is unearthed. I will attempt to get pics and numbers off this this car sometime this summer. Thanks for everyone's input.
