  • Is "performability" a word?

I keep getting a misspelled word indicator from Microsoft Word. Is performability a word, or a combination of two words?

If we understand what it means does it make a difference? Just add it to the lexicon. Language evolves.

We here tend to enjoy making our own words; words like "Unobtanium", "CASO", and in the form of a verb, "Studebakering". I guess "performability" is a word.......

Usually I don't point out errors like that. Since the discussion was words it seemed appropriate. We all make mistakes "sum" times. That's why lots of my posts are edited.

I gots "co-optation" and "co-optative" but no "coopetition."

I'm not sure the philologists are quite ready for Mr. Waltrip yet.
