61 Lark Convertible documentation

Just curious, what happened to the rest of the car?

It's spending quality time with Jimmy Hoffa.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think doing a swap like this is technically illegal in my state. Plus, most states (even my crazy strict one) have a provision allowing non-titled cars to get a bonded title. After a few years, the "bonded" part goes away, and it's as good as the original.

But then, maybe someone would need this sort of thing. I know if I were still doing my grandpa's Lark and it were a '60 title/tag, it would look a lot more tempting than an arm wrestling match with the DMV.

Metal termites did a job on it. Was parted out 7 or 8 years ago, just ran across the documentation while cleaning out my desk.

Thanks for the update.

Perhaps someone can use the title and tags, fortunately I live in a "non-title" state for anything 20 years or older.

So it keeps buying an older car pretty simple.
