Is there a direct fit or close, daul mater cylinder for the 60 / 61 floor mount pedal ?
What bolt pattern are the wheels? 5 on ?
Are there new wheel cylinders available ?
The frame is basically a 2R unit? Are the king pins the same ?
    Thanx

I believe new wheel cylinders are available or you could rebuilt your ones.

Wheel cylinder rebuild kits are available through Studebaker International. I believe there are dual master cylinders for other applications that can be adapted to your use. Check with Turner Brakes for the definitive answer on this, and maybe the rest of your questions as well.

Thanx, The truck I found has been sitting awhile . The first area to visit is the brakes.
I also notice the clutch pedal is really heavy. Frame bushings ? Linkage ?
The truck has floor pedals and a 4 speed.
It all looks like gas and a battery will drive it home, but I want to stop when I get here.

The king pins are the same part number on the 2R trucks and Champs.

My 61 truck is a 4 speed so I know very well what you mean by having a heavy clutch. I took mine to a rebuilder & they removed one spring on each of the 3 spring groups in the pressure plate. Now the clutch is reasonable & doesnt put undue pressure on the driver or the linkage.

My trucks clutch pedal was very hard to push when I got it and what I did was drill a couple more holes in the lever that the clutch linkage rod that goes to the bellhousing hooks into. That stiff clutch pedal has nothing to do with whats in the clutch itself but the leverage that works the clutch.....mine now works perfect. I suppose i could take a picture of what I did for anyone not understanding what I did.

Here is a picture of my clutch linkage.
I drilled 2 more holes in the plate 1/2 inch apart from the original one which is the bottom most.
Unbeiievable difference you get by moving that rod up the lever. I found 1 inch higher up gave me a more comfortable clutch pedal.

You can see the wear circle on the original hole.
