  • Spicer power lock differential ????

I was digging around in my 63 full package superlark today and found this sticker I'm the glove box. I was told the original rear end was not on the car when I bought it. The rear end ghat us in it now had aftermarket traction bars on it. I know the car was drag race for a good portion of its life. Anybody know how to identify the power lock rear end.

I believe you just have an aftermarket Dana Spicer Twin Traction, Power-Lok is their name for the Studebaker TT, it should be very close to or exactly the same.

Pulling the inspection cover should tell the story, compare to Shop Manual Pics.

      The tag is pre-mid-1963.
