  • Brakes: Check Valve on Bendix Hydrovac?

Can anyone tell me the location of the check valve on the Bendix Hydrovac remote booster? I'm putting one on my '53 Chevy convertible--they were factory options for Chevy in '53, and I know Studebaker also used them. I want to check the checkvalve before I install the unit.

The check valve is the lowest, smallest fitting pointing down in your picture.

What he said.....the one with the red cap. The lower yellow cap is the input from the master cylinder, and the end cap is the output.
