  • A/C in The 49 Truck

I started this a year ago but my wife had a stoke and just now getting back to it. No firewall cutting cut a small piece out of the cardboard on the inner firewall insulation. I will probably vacuum it down tomorrow.

I thought you already had AC in that truck, Carl?

Regardless of what I thought, good work, as always!!

I did but it was behind the seat and didn't work very good. Not enough air and the fan would cavitate on high. This will work a lot better.

How about some more details? What kind of unit is it? What about the rest of the system? Would love to see and hear more about it.

Glad your wife is doing better

The evaporator came from Nostalgia Air in Tampa. Fl. It is the only one I found that was 11 inches deep. I put in a under the seat heater.
