Well,
After almost a year of trying to track down the cooling issues on our 61 Lark Wagon I need to just take it in to someone.
anyone know of a good mechanic/shop near Detroit? My dad used to take our Studes to a guy in Dearborn on Warren, but that was back in the 70s.
i think we need to clean out the block, i just don't have time for it, need to take it in so we can use the car.
already replaced thermostat, water pump(set at right depth) timing, 2 radiators, new hoses.
it appears to be a flow issue still as even when I spray cold water on the radiator the temp is still a bit hot. Generally runs around 195 but can get up tp 220 at idle. Running 2 1800CFM electric fans. used a 4-core copper and 3 row aluminum, same result.
Thanks for the help
Mark
