Electrical: 1953-55 Fog Lamp parts schematic?

Hi All,

Have been scanning 53-58 body parts catalog & 51-54 chassis parts catalog looking for details/schematic on how the C/K fog lamps parts are assembled. No luck. I may not have the right catalogs. Can anyone help me with a schematic of those pages (wherever they are?) or the AC sheet?. All help appreciated.

Does page 149 help you in the 51-54 chassis parts manual? I don't know how to post pdf pages from the manual here, and my scanner only takes single sheets of paper, so I can't send a book through it. Regards, Junior

To: Henry Votel,----- Is there anything in particular You need to know about how these lights are set up? I could look at my Speedster...... and I believe the wiring diagram is in the '55 Shop Manual.

Junior pointed it out as being on page 149. I am often my own entertainment. Went through that book page-by-page at least half a dozen times on different occasions and just never saw it. I posted because I have reached the age where embarrassment for missing something lets me often tell myself "that's something new". Thanks Guys-much appreciated!

The wiring diagram is on page 4 of the electrical section of the 1953 shop manual. However, you need an electron microscope to read it. Here it is enlarged:

Those are an accessory, and based on the installation instruction sheets for others I have seen, you probably need to find a copy of that to get the details you are looking for. One I have seen for the '53-'55 backup lights has an exploded drawing and BOM (bill of materials) as well as other diagrams, templates, etc.
