There were only 739 made

Asking $4,000

If it isn't rusty, it's a very good deal.

Here's a link that works (I think the "L" was missing from the end of starlite51's)...

Geez! Who was it here that was looking for a 2-door wagon to work with??? Hmmmmmm....

LOOKS like one heck of a deal to me! I even know a Stude guy who works in Daly city. I'd bet he'd take a look if I asked.

thanks Dick for the tip -- I fixed the link in the orignal posting [B)]

I have been watching that wagon come and go on SF Craigs list

(I am surprised that Elverta Sal did not buy it .. I am sure he checked it out he doesn't miss much around NorCal for JP)

I tried to get my young buddy that owns the Billet Proof Show in Antioch to buy it
but he went and bought a rusty 57 Ford wagon instead,, that will need $4,000 worth of fixes)

hard to train these young pups about Rare & Just plain cool ... :D

a year from now someone will stumble over this post and say "wished I had bought that"

I have been in touch with the owner of this car~ of COURSE!!! I've got many pictures of it as well. If anyone's interested I could forward the pics to them. This car has spent it's ENTIRE life up in that area. I will say that it indeed does have some rust. Some of it has been repaired with NOS replacement parts, but some of it still remains... ;) :( [V]

I'd be happy to see it go to a good home as I'm getting the itch myself!!!

Never seen a Hawk wagon.

Here's a model of one in that Swedish "Wheels" magazine...

Interesting that this should come up. I have thought for some time that a 56 Stude two door wagon with a Hawk front end and suitable trim would be a slick piece. The taillights on the 56 seem more suitable and Packard power would be optional. Of course, getting everything to flow well would take some real craftsmanship not to mention $$ for the 56 Hawk
NOS pieces.
