  • 64 Cruiser Door Mirrors

Where in the manual or is there a drawing which has the factory placement of those mirrors found on the front doors. My mirrors currently installed are to far forward and just do not adjust as they should.

I may be dreaming, but I can remember seeing something
that said that the left side mirror was still an option.
While cruising through my 1964 body parts manual, there
is only reference to the inside rear view mirror. So I
am only guessing that the dealer would put it on if you
    wanted one....

If there is a template for the mirror installation the SDC keeper of accessory instructions and templates is Dave Mottle, 532 East Ella, Corrales, NM 87048. Send him a buck or two to cover copy and mailing fees.

Many of these were dealer installed and may not be standard location. In addition, the reproductions do not pivot as much as the originals and, if they have been replaced, may not tilt where you want even if correctly installed.

Guys, thanks for the reply, I will get in touch with Dave, and build off of the information. Trying to get this car back to life has been a lot of work, yet the joy when it all comes together makes it worth it.
