  • Wheels / Tires: Tire valve caps

One very old tire valve cap on our '47 Champion is made of brass, with a rounded top. Would this have been the original type of the car? If so, could anyone suggest where I might obtain four more of them? Thanks!

Are you sure it wasn't plated brass ? I can remember them and they were pretty common in my Dads service station.

      Here's a start.

Brass valve stem caps are constructed with high quality brass. Brass finish, nickel or chrome plated, and black enamel can be up to your choice.

Someone near me should speak up, and sell some of that gallon bucket full you stole from my shed.
